A Hosting Legal Entity (HLE) is an institution registered as an EOSC Resource Provider resource provider, that is a legal entity and agrees to be accountable for resources onboarded to EOSC. Resources may be onboarded by a resource provider which is not a legal entity, but only if the Hosting Legal Entity field includes one legal entity already registered as resource provider, if this has been agreed in advance with them
